Outreach Operation
Matt 28:18 – 20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
At Familia Christi, we would like to see believers take up the commission of making disciples for Jesus. Practically it means that we would be His hands and feet in the world. In doing so, we don’t believe in a “hit-and-run” strategy, but rather in establishing sustainable projects or supporting already established ministries and projects. The apostle Paul planted churches, supported and equipped them to be self sustaining churches where people grew to become spiritual mature and would also reach out to the lost.
We want to continually think about our role in this world. That is why we encourage family members to pray with us that we would experience God’s guidance in where and how we should be involved.
The Word reminds us that “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest”.
